Planet Platforms employee, Stephen Race, has just been named as rugby league National Conference League’s Referee of the Year.
Stephen received his honour at the Annual Awards Dinner, which was held at the Hilton Hotel, Leeds on Friday night.
There are over 1500 amateur referees who officiate games throughout the UK and the National Conference League is the highest league in the grassroots game. To be chosen as the Referee of the Year is a remarkable achievement.
Refereeing for last 14 years, games can take him anywhere from Cumbria to London and this award recognises his dedication to the amateur game.
