Entering into its sixth year, the awards will celebrate the district’s entrepreneurial spirt as well as incorporating new retail categories combining the success of an even wider range of businesses.
The awards coincide with Wakefield Business Week, which will see events throughout the region covering topics that include exporting, auto enrolment and marketing.
On Monday the Wakefield Manufacturing Forum of which Planet Platforms is a Steering Committee member, is holding an event entitled Finding Your Business Voice with Claire Boyles.
Running from 2.00pm-5.00pm the session will look at getting the best results out of your marketing communication.
